Lightbulb Do You Suffer From Allergies?

If you suffer from allergies as I do, I have a website that will be helpful for you. The Weather Channel has an area where you can put in your zip code and get the day's allergy levels. Today in Northern Kentucky, the pollen count was 2700! No wonder I've had a headache all week. Hopefully the rain in the next few days will clean the air. Also, you can get your local forcast.

Thanks for the info bookworm!

My son and I both have horrible allergies and I am disappointed that the local weather reports usually don't include the allergy reports, unless they are unusually high. I will bookmark this site and check it daily.

They said this past week that with the warm weather with all the trees and flowers blooming that the pollen reached over 3000! The rain and cooler weather though put a stop to that real quick. I just hope the weather doesn't get below freezing from this point forward so we don't lose any of our precious trees.

Lemme tell you what you need. I learnt this from my mother as a young child. When you have a nagging cough all you have to do is take a teaspoon of honey and swaller. This will get rid of the cough and keep the throat clear. They say that doing the same before a meal primes the food buds for the meal yer going to eat. Been doing this for years.

U.S. -- While the spring time and sunshine might be a breath of fresh air for some, if you're one of the millions of people who suffer from seasonal allergies, this time of year is miserable.

The unusually warm weather over the past few weeks, along with a high pollen count has people coming in droves to the allergist’s office looking for some relief.

While many medications that might help you feel better are over the counter, doctors said this allergy season might require something stronger if you're sensitive to pollen.

"So far this season, and it's only April, we've seen two-thirds the amount of pollen that we saw for all of last year,” said Dr. David Schulan.

For those who do suffer this time of year, doctors said there are a number of over-the-counter drugs to help.
